Maggie Basta
About Maggie
Maggie joined Scale in 2022 and focuses on AI infrastructure and developer tools. She has been part of Scale’s investments in companies Cortex, Lumos, and QA Wolf.
Prior to joining Scale, Maggie worked as an ML engineer at QuantCo, where she built AI solutions for algorithmic pricing, fraud detection, and data migration. Her academic research focused on healthcare applications of computer vision.
Maggie holds a joint B.A. in Engineering and Computer Science, from Harvard University. At Harvard, she was a member of multiple research groups and played on the Women’s Varsity Soccer team. Outside of work, she likes to spend her time running, surfing, and painting.
