Max joined Scale in 2021 and focuses primarily on investments in Applied AI. He has contributed to the firm’s investments in Regie.ai, Dusty Robotics, and Verusen.
Before Scale, Max was a private equity investor at Kayne Anderson, focused on growth-stage vertical software companies.
Max holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also a varsity lightweight rower. Outside of work, Max remains an active endurance athlete, and he is an aficionado of narrative-driven podcasts (favorites include Hardcore History, Radiolab, and The Memory Palace).
