1. OUR APPROACH TO PRIVACY

1.1 This Privacy Policy covers the company Scale Management, L.L.C. and its affiliates existing from time to
time (collectively, “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) as well
as the website, www.scalevp.com, as well as any other websites and subdomains owned or controlled by Company
(collectively, the “Site”) and any and all tools, software products, and services offered through the Site
(collectively, the “Service”), and our interactions with you in the course of our business activities including
in our offices, at our events, or at other offline settings where we post this Privacy Policy.

1.2 Our Service is designed to help you. We do not sell or share your personal information with any
third-parties except as provided in this Privacy Policy. We never share your personal information with third
parties for their own marketing purposes.

1.3 By accessing or using our Service, you signify that you have read, understood and agree to our collection,
storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Use
and our User Agreement.

1.4 You agree that all transactions relating to our Services shall be deemed to have occurred in the United
States, where we currently have all of our personnel and operations. Your information collected through the
Services may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Company or our
subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. If you are located in the European Union or
other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please see

2. HOW WE COLLECT AND USE INFORMATION

2.1 We collect personal information from our Site visitors in order to provide you with a personalized, useful
and efficient experience. The categories of information we collect can include:

2.1.1 Information that you provide to us. Information you provide through the
Service or otherwise includes:

Profile data, such as your username and password when you set up an
account with us.

Communications data, such as when you contact us through the Service,
social media, events, applications, or other forms and through discussions we have with you or your
representatives.

Contact data, such as your company name, your name and email address.

Company data, such as information you provide about your company,
including expenses, financing and other information you provide.

Event registration data, such as information you provide when you register
for or attend in-person or online events that we host or co-host.

Job candidacy data, such as information about your candidacy for a job at
one of our portfolio companies, such as your professional and educational background.

Other data not specifically listed here, which we will use as described in this
Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

2.1.2 Information from other sources. We may obtain information from other sources,
such as third-party information providers, publicly available sources, or through mergers and acquisitions, and
combine this with information previously collected. In these cases, our Privacy Policy governs the handling of
the combined personal information.

2.1.3 We use personal information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of
the Service, as well as to communicate directly with you, such as to send you email messages about products,
services that may be of interest to you or to communicate with you about employment or business opportunities
with our portfolio companies. We may also send you Service-related emails or messages (e.g., account
verification, purchase confirmation, changes or updates to features of the Service, technical and security
notices). Similarly, if you request information from us through an online contact form or if you email us, we
collect the information you provide (e.g., name, telephone number, email address) so that we can respond to you.

2.1.4. We may also use your personal information for compliance and protection purposes, such as to:

  • comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, and legal process, such as to respond to subpoenas or requests
    from government authorities;
  • protect our, your or others’ rights, privacy, safety or property (including by making and defending legal
    claims);
  • audit our internal processes for compliance with legal and contractual requirements or our internal policies;
  • enforce the terms and conditions that govern the Service; and
  • prevent, identify, investigate and deter fraudulent, harmful, unauthorized, unethical or illegal activity,
    including cyberattacks and identity theft.

3.0 HOW WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGY TO COLLECT INFORMATION
3.1 We, and our third party partners, automatically collect certain types of usage information when you visit
our Site, use our Service, read our emails, or otherwise engage with us. We typically collect this information
through a variety of tracking technologies, including cookies, web beacons, file information and similar
technology (collectively, “tracking technologies”). For example, we collect information about
your device and its software, such as your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, platform type,
device type, operating system, date and time stamp, a unique ID that allows us to uniquely identify your
browser, mobile device or your account, and other such information (collectively, “device data”). When you access our Site and/or Service from a mobile device, the device data we
collect may include unique identification numbers associated with your device or our mobile application , mobile
carrier, device type, model and manufacturer, mobile device operating system brand and model, phone number, and
depending on your mobile device settings, your geographical location data, including GPS coordinates (e.g.,
latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device, or we may be
able to approximate a device’s location by analyzing other information, like an IP address. We may collect
analytics data, or use third-party analytics tools, to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Site and
Service and to understand more about the demographics of our users. For example, we use Google Analytics cookies

Although we do our best to honor the privacy preferences of our users, we are unable to
respond to Do Not Track signals set by your browser at this time. We also collect information about the way you
use our Site and Service, for example, the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you
leave our website, the pages you visit, the links you click, how frequently you access the Site and Service,
whether you open emails or click the links contained in emails, and other actions you take on the Site and
Service (collectively, “online activity data”).

3.2 We use or may use the data collected through tracking technologies to: (a) remember information so that you
will not have to re-enter it during your visit or the next time you visit the Site or use the Service; (b)
provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) provide and monitor the effectiveness of our Service;
(d) monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, usage, and demographic patterns on our
website; (e) diagnose or fix technology problems; and (f) otherwise to plan for and enhance our Service.

3.3 If you would prefer not to accept cookies, most browsers will allow you to: (i) change your browser
settings to notify you when you receive a cookie, which lets you choose whether or not to accept it; (ii)
disable existing cookies; or (iii) set your browser to automatically reject cookies. Please note that doing so
may negatively impact your experience using the Site and Service, as some features and services on our Site
and/or Service may not work properly. Depending on your mobile device and operating system, you may not be able
to delete or block all cookies. You may also set your e-mail options to prevent the automatic downloading of
images that may contain technologies that would allow us to know whether you have accessed our e-mail and

4.0 HOW WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

4.1 We may share your personal information in the instances described below. For further information on your
choices regarding your information, see “Control Over Your Information.”

4.1.1 Service providers. We may share your personal information with third-party
service providers or business partners who help us deliver or improve our Service or who perform services on our
behalf, such as marketing, processing payments, sending postal mail, providing back-office services, or
measuring Service traffic.

4.1.2 We may aggregate, or strip information of personally identifying characteristics, and then share that
aggregated or anonymized information with third parties.

4.1.3 Authorities and others. We may share or disclose your personal information if we
determine, in our sole discretion, that we are required to do so under applicable law or regulatory
requirements, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or financial loss, or in
connection with preventing fraud or illegal activity, and/or to enforce our Terms of Service and User
Agreement.

4.1.4 Affiliates. We may share with other companies and brands owned or controlled by
Company and other companies owned by or under common ownership as Company, which also includes our subsidiaries
(i.e., any organization we own or control) or our ultimate holding company (i.e., any organization that owns or
controls us) and any subsidiaries it owns. These companies will use your personal information in the same way as
we can under this Privacy Policy.

4.1.5 Business transferees. We reserve the right to transfer any information we collect
in the event we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets (including any shares in the
company) or any portion or combination of our products, services, businesses and/or assets. Should such a
transaction occur (whether a divestiture, merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization,
liquidation, or similar transaction or proceeding), we will use reasonable efforts to ensure that any
transferred information is treated in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

4.1.6 Investors. We may share with investors and prospective investors in our fund’s
bios and other information about the founders and key personnel of our portfolio companies.

4.1.7 Portfolio companies. We may share personal information about job candidates and
other business contacts with portfolio companies with whom we are collaborating to assist those companies with
their business and recruiting activities.

4.1.8 Professional advisors. We may share personal information with professional
advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional
services that they render to us.

5.0 CONTROL OVER YOUR INFORMATION

5.1 Email Communications. From time to time, we may send you emails regarding
updates to our Service, products or services, notices about our organization, or information about
products/services we offer (or promotional offers from third parties) that we think may be of interest to you.
If you wish to unsubscribe from such emails, simply click the “unsubscribe link” provided at the bottom of the
email communication. Note that you cannot unsubscribe from certain Services-related email communications (e.g.,
account verification, confirmations of transactions, technical or legal notices).

5.2 Modifying Account Information. If you have an online account with us, you have
the ability to modify certain information in your account (e.g., your contact information) through “profile,”
“account,” “settings,” or “preferences” options provided on the Service. If you have any questions about
modifying or updating any information in your account, please contact us at the email or postal address provided
below.

6.0 DATA PROTECTION AND SECURITY

6.1 Data Retention. Following termination or deactivation of your user account, Company may retain your
information for a commercially reasonable time for recordkeeping, audit or other purposes.

6.2 Keeping Information Safe. Company cares about the security of your information and uses commercially
reasonable physical, technical and organizational measures designed to preserve the integrity and security of
all information we collect. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of
our systems 100%. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of
security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those
individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable
laws and regulations.

7.0 LINKS TO THIRD PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

7.1 For your convenience, our Service may provide links to third-party websites or services that are not
governed by this Privacy Policy. To the extent that any linked third-party websites or services you visit are
not owned or controlled by Company, we are not responsible for those websites’ or services’ content or
information practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site or service before providing
any personal information.

8.0 CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

8.1 Company’s Service is intended for use strictly by adults. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal
information from children under the age of 16. If we learn that any personal information has been collected
inadvertently from a child under 16, we will delete the information as soon as possible. If you believe that we
might have collected information from a child under 16, please contact us at scale-privacy@scalevp.com.

9.0 CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

9.1 We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. We will post
changes on this page and indicate the “last modified” date at the top of this page. Please check back often for
any updates. Your continued use of our Service after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your
acceptance of such change.

11.0 INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

11.1 This notice describes our collection, use and disclosure of personal information of
California residents in our capacity as a “business” under the California Consumer Privacy Act
(“CCPA”) and their rights with respect to their personal information.
For purposes of this notice, “personal information” has the meaning given in the CCPA but
does not include information exempted from the scope of the CCPA.

11.2 Your privacy rights. As a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA:

  • Right to know. You can request information about the
    categories of personal information that we have collected; the categories of sources from which
    we collected personal information; the business or commercial purpose for collecting, sharing
    and/or selling personal information; the categories of any personal information that we sold or
    disclosed for a business purpose; and the categories of any third parties with whom personal
    information was sold, shared or disclosed for a business purpose.
  • Right to access. You can request a copy of certain personal information that we have collected about you.
  • Right to deletion. You can request that we delete personal information that we collected from you.
  • Right to correction. .You can request that we correct inaccurate personal information that we have collected about you.
  • Nondiscrimination. You are entitled to exercise the rights described above free from discrimination as prohibited by the CCPA.

11.3 Submitting requests for information/know, access, correction, and deletion.
You may submit requests to exercise these rights at (888) 925-8429 or via email to
privacy@scalevp.com. The rights described above
are not absolute, and in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.
We cannot process your request if you do not provide us with sufficient detail to allow us to
understand and respond to it.

11.4 Identity verification. We need to verify
your identity to process your requests to exercise your rights to know, access, deletion, and
correction, and we reserve the right to confirm your California residency. To verify your identity,
we may require you to log into an online account if you have one, provide identifiers we can match
against information we may have collected from you previously, confirm your request using the email
or telephone account stated in the request, provide government identification, or provide a
declaration under penalty of perjury, where permitted by law.

11.5 Authorized agents.  Your authorized agent
may make a request on your behalf upon our verification of the agent’s identity and our receipt of a
copy of a valid power of attorney given to your authorized agent pursuant to applicable state law.
If you have not provided your agent with such a power of attorney, we may ask you and/or your agent
to take additional steps permitted by law to verify that your request is authorized, such as
information required to verify your identity and that you have given the authorized agent permission
to submit the request.

11.6 Information practices.
The following describes our practices currently and during the past 12 months:

  • Sources and purposes. We collect all categories of personal information from
    the sources and use them for the
    business/commercial purposes described above in the
    Privacy Policy.
  • Sale. We have no actual knowledge that we have sold or shared
    the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age.
  • Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal
    information for purposes that California residents have a right to limit under the CCPA.
  • Retention.  The criteria for deciding how long to retain
    personal information is generally based on whether such period is sufficient to fulfill the purposes for
    which we collected it as described in this notice, including complying with our legal
    obligations.
  • Deidentification. We do not to attempt to reidentify deidentified
    information derived from personal information, except for the purpose of testing whether our
    deidentification processes comply with applicable law.
  • Collection and disclosure. The chart below describes the personal
    information we collect by reference to the categories of personal information specified in the CCPA (Cal.
    Civ. Code §1798.140), and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it. The
    terms in the chart refer to the categories of information and third parties described above in this Privacy
    Policy in more detail. Information you voluntarily provide to us, such as in free-form webforms, may contain
    other categories of personal information not described below. We may also disclose personal information to
    professional advisors, law enforcement and government authorities, and business transferees as described
    above in the How we share your personal information section of this Privacy Policy.
