Bio

Jeremy is a Partner at Scale. His investments sit at the application layer of AI across a variety of vertical and functional markets. One of the most interesting trends in the AI era has been that many of the most explosive vertical AI companies (legal, healthcare, trucking) have come out of markets where traditional software adoption lagged and where core systems of record were weak, making these markets particularly attractive in the AI era.

Recent investments include GC AI (legal AI), Freed (medical scribing), HelloPatient (voice AI), and AI investments focused on the physical world including Motive (trucking), Spot AI (video AI) and Inspiren (sensors in senior care).

Jeremy studied economics and public policy at Dartmouth and spent his early career as a researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and also worked as a data scientist in the healthcare space.

In 2014, Jeremy moved to San Francisco and joined Salesforce on the Sales Strategy and Business Operations team, where he worked closely with the team responsible for Salesforce’s best-in-class distribution engine. When not at the office, Jeremy spends his time in the outdoors road biking, skiing, open water swimming, and playing tennis.
